This 1967 Jaguar XKE "E Type" one owner from new and all original. This one got lots of attention from everyone who came into our shop in March 2008. We rebuilt and tuned the carburetor to cure a fuel leak and fitted new brakes and exhaust to make this car a joy to drive again.

We've worked on a few Series Land Rovers and Defenders this winter including this beautiful 1970 restored example. Tony worked in a Land Rover dealership for several years in England so once worked on these everyday and knows them inside out. We can look after any Land Rover from 1948 to the latest Range Rovers and LR3 models and everything in between.

This 1952 MG TD which was in the shop for a few months in late 2007 after standing for several years. With all new brakes, tires, exhaust, gaskets, hoses, belts, suspension, thermostat, carbuetor jets, fuel pump, and many more new parts we went through every component on the car to make it safe to drive again. The original owners daughter drives it now, a new lease of life for a much loved car.

No, you're not seeing double - we had two Austin Healey Sprites in the shop. Known as a Bugeye here, known to us Brits as a Frogeye, you cannot help but smile when you see one! The Sprite on the left had been in our shop for several months, it came in as a painted rolling bodyshell, we refitted the engine and all electricals and got it running again. The car won a trophy at Autumn in the Mountains 2007 and can been seen at many local car shows and British Car Club events. The Sprite on the right came in for a new fuel tank.

"North Amercian Spec" Defender 110, one of only 500 imported into the USA. We repaired some wiring faults among other maitainance jobs and small repairs.

This stunning 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II belongs to a local customer, we tuned the carburetors and sorted out some wiring problems. Customer comments: Thank you for the work you did on my Silver Cloud II, the lights work properly and people can actually tell when I put my brakes on. The car runs much smoother - more Rolls like. Thanks again for all of your help, we are very pleased that you are there to help! R.W. Asheville NC

This 1963 Mk2 Jaguar is a daily driver around Asheville. We've repaired the handbrake and sorted out an idle speed fault. We shouldn't have favorites, but this is one of them. (actually we have a LOT of favorites!)

What do people say about Old English Cars LLC? Our main source of new customers has always been referrals from people who's car we've already worked on. Thanks again for the service and all the information about the car" M.Flowers, Weaverville. July 08

There is more to do which seems to be part of the "fun" & "pain" of having been adopted by an old British car. We feel lucky to have discovered you & your shop" R&C W. Asheville. May 07 "You folks have done an absolutly teriffic job on my MG. Thank you!" D. Barnes. Dec 07 "The brake pedal is the best it's ever been!" K&B Gregory. Hendersonville March 08

This 2003 London Taxi came in with an electrical problem. Lots of people just had to stop in and take a look at it, not an everyday sight in the mountains of western NC! This one is owned by London Limo Ltd of Asheville and can be hired (with chauffeur) for weddings, it's much more luxurious than the ones in London! Did you know the Duke of Edinburgh (husband of HM The Queen) used to drive a London Taxi to enable him to get around London without being noticed?
