Answers to FAQ on imported cars for sale:

  • All vehicles are sold AS IS with no warranty, buyer is responsible for collection, applicable taxes and title fees.
  • Vehicles are checked over for safety and assessment in our workshop but not "restored" unless stated otherwise.

  • All vehicles from England are at least 25 years old, and with any vehicle of that age future repairs and maintenance may be required.

Each vehicle we sell comes with a clear North Carolina Title.

We pay all the import duty, clear the vehicles through US Customs, get the vehicles inspected by DMV (they check VIN numbers etc) and apply for a new title document using the title from England (called the Log Book). When you purchase a vehicle from us you get a clear North Carolina Title which can be transferred to any state with no problem, just the same as buying any other car.

We can help you arrange transport from our premises to your home.

Transportation costs and arrangements are the buyers responsibility and will be additional to the price of the car but we can help you find a good reliable transport company to deliver a vehicle to you if you cannot collect the vehicle from us in North Carolina yourself. We have sold vehicles to buyers from Seattle to Florida with no problems. (Sorry, we cannot give you a quote).

The Vehicles from England are Right Hand Drive

This does not present a problem, it is legal to drive in USA and we have many happy customers who agree you quickly get used to it.

Some  people's dogs do get confused however,  they don't like to sit in what they think is the drivers side!
